How do you sponge paint a bedroom wall? Do you have to anything beside primer the wall first before painting?

You typically pick two colors, put one down first and then go over it with the second color mixed with a glaze. Use colors that are at least two shaded apart so you get contrast. Most home improvement stores have classes on this, which can help you get the technique. How do you sponge paint a bedroom wall? Do you have to anything beside primer the wall first before painting?
You will need to fill in any nails holes and plaster them and then sand it smooth.Primer if needed but usually only to cover dark colors.First use one color then you sponge spots on the second color a shade darker or for example use a light orangish color and paint the whole wall. Second use a goldish brown and make it more of a wash and dip sponge in .use a right left motion and dab it first to the right then to the left using a dabbing motion. My daughter did a swirling Motion with the second color with a cloth like an old t-shirt .It looks sharp. My sister-in law used a bronze color over a dark brown the sponged the bronze on in a small tapping motion... get a book from your local Lowe's or home depot for the actual form to use it is to difficult to explain hereHow do you sponge paint a bedroom wall? This depends on what your design is. My wife painted the half of each wall different colors (yellow, pink, light green, and light blue) and then sponged on a different color after it had dried.

My daughter loved it for a long time and then as she grew older we cleaned the walls up and painted it all a solid off white color.
